Biologically Applied Engineering is a Maine State Limited Liability Corporation organized in 2008 with the
objective of providing engineering services for research in the biological, veterinary and natural sciences.
Currently nearly all of the revenue is associated with providing services and in-situ testing for the horse racing
industry.
Previous work has included both basic and applied research in equine, cetacean and canine biomechanics. A new partnership is exploring the application of novel monitoring technologies for the evaluation of renewable energy recourses in small scale sites.
